MONTPELIER — Billy Wayne “Wild Bill” Eaton, 50, died Dec. 16, 2011, at his home, in the Montpelier community.
Billy Wayne Eaton was born Dec. 5, 1961, in West Point to Glenda Joyce Dendy Eaton and Billy Joe Eaton. Billy Wayne worked with Bryan Foods for a number of years most recently at Long Branch and Ellis Steel; he was of the Methodist Faith. He loved watching NASCAR and football. Billy Wayne was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 23, 2011, at the Palestine United Church with the Rev. Harold Robinson officiating, assisted by Rev. Cary Sutphin.
Burial will follow in Palestine Cemetery Montpelier.
Visitation will be from 12:30-2 p.m. Friday at Palestine United Methodist Church.
Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his sister, Melinda Jo Josey (Mike) of Starkville; nephew, Weston Tyler Abshire of Starkville; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Andy Moore, David Hodnett, Kevin Clark, Robbie Kelsey, Brad Davis, Frank Todd and Tyler Hodnett.
Honorary Pallbearers will be his friends in the Clay County and the Montpelier Community.
