Tonight is the night!
If you’ve been a good Bulldog you’ll get a visit from Santa Claus with everything on your maroon and white wish list.
You did mail your wish list right?
I know being a Bulldog you already feel blessed beyond belief. You have great games to watch. You have the Junction to tailgate in. You get to celebrate the domination of The School Up North (that never gets old). And I’m thankful for the blessing of my keeper, Lisa Chrestman.
Just because I’m thankful for all the many blessings doesn’t mean I didn’t send in my list of wishes to Santa.
Here’s what’s on my Christmas list this season…
– Aberdeen defensive end, Channing Ward. Trust me, that kid would look good in maroon.
– A trip with John Cohen and the Diamond Dawgs to Omaha for the College World Series. I’ve watched a few practices this fall and I think this trip is in order.
– Anti-Freeze. Now I know, normally dogs don’t really want anti-freeze because it isn’t exactly good for us. This is special… this is anti(Hugh)-freeze.
– Coach Van and the softball team to have a successful first season. Love Bulldog softball.
– Expand Davis Wade Stadium. I know Scott Stricklin is working on this, but I just can’t wait to have 75,000 of my closest friends join me for a game.
– An Egg Bowl jersey. I think I would look pretty sharp with some gold trim.
– Jeremy Liggins would be a nice addition at quarterback. I know Tyler Russell and Dak Prescott have things well in hand, but as Coach Mullen says, you need three quarterbacks in his system.
– A new series of “Our State” billboards. I had so much fun listening to the guys up north complain about them that I think it is only right to have another round just for them.
– It would be really nice to have new maroon fleece bed to take to Nashville. I hear it gets cold up there around this time of year. I want to watch the game in both comfort and style.
– Maroon Friday for everyone! Hail State!
I would like to each and every one of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. See you in Nashville.
