ACKERMAN – The East Webster Lady Wolverines upset the No. 1 seed William Sullivan 41-40 at the Class 2A, Region 5, District 4 Tournament Thursday night.
Quantesha Patterson had 24 points to lead East Webster. Patterson has scored 50 points in two wins during the tournament. She had 26 points in Tuesday's 64-39 victory against Ackerman.
The Lady Wolverines, who improved to 16-11 this season, play in tonight's championship game with the tip set for 7 p.m.

ACKERMAN – The No. 1 seed William Sullivan went on a 13-0 run to break open a close game in the second half and went on to defeat the Wolverines.
William Sullivan jumped out to a 14-10 lead after the first quarter and extended the margin to 22-14 at half.
The Wolverines closed the gap to 26-23 in the third quarter before William Sullivan made its run.
Charles Guyton led East Webster with 14 points.
The Wolverines, who have a record of 10-16, take on Eupora this afternoon in the consolation game. The tip is set for 5:30 p.m.
