Edward McMinn

Edward Wayne McMinn, 72, of Starkville, formerly of Paragould, Ark., died Monday, Feb. 13, 2012, at OCH Regional Hospital in Starkville.
Born May 21, 1939, in Sturgis to Clarence and Sallie McMinn, he was a retired sales representative for Jonesboro Bearing and Supply. Mr. McMinn was a past member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda McMinn of Starkville; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Lori McMinn of Paragould; and daughter and son-in-law, Becki and George Davis of Starkville. He is also survived by sisters, Billie Thomas of Thomson, Ga., and Helen Pickens of Edmond, Okla.; and five grandchildren, Lindsey and Levi McMinn and Kirby, Morgan and James Davis.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jim and Clyde McMinn; and sister, Moselle Riley.
Visitation will be held 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at Mitchell Funeral Home in Paragould.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012, at Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel with Dwight Harrison officiating.
Burial will follow in Greene County Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
