Ms. Betty Rice Wiseman (Kay Starnes), 69, died March 18, 2012, at AvonLea Retirement Home in Tupelo.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2012, at Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Restland Funeral Home.
Ms. Starnes was preceded in death by Baby Rice; husband, Herbert Lewis Wiseman; father, William David Starnes; mother, Betty Boyd Starnes; brother, William David Starnes II; and sister, Suzanne Starnes.
She is survived by sister, Patricia Lehr; son, Robert Brad Rice and his wife, Cindy Crawford Rice; daughter Cindy Rice Lockhart and her husband, Geoffrey Randall Lockhart; granddaughter, Brittany Ann Sheagley; grandsons, Grayson Seth Lockhart, Dean Luke Lockhart and Daniel Christopher Rice.
Kay Starnes loved our Lord and Savior, and her family. She enjoyed laughing, telling good jokes, helping others, writing, swimming, politics and spending time with her grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Project Hope-Hati Relief.
