Mrs. Grace D. Burkes, 95, died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012.
Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10, 2012 at Rocky Point Baptist Church with Bro. Shane McGivney officiating.
Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Wilcox Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Burkes, a native of Leake County, was a member of Rocky Point Baptist Church.
Survivors include son, Pete (Norma) Burkes of Carthage; daughter, Barbara (Jacky) Dorsey of Starkville; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Newton Burkes and a grandson, Todd Dorsey.
