Mrs. Ellen Cox Forrest Brunt, 79, died Monday, Nov. 12, 2012 at her home in Starkville.
A family graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012 at the Charleston Cemetery in Charleston.
Welch Funeral Home of Starkville is in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her husband, Col. Julian Brunt (retired) of Starkville; son, Charlie Forrest of Starkville; and sisters, Henryse “Ressie” Carpenter of Starkville and Christine Jolly of Grenada; and eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her late husband, Reginald “Bubba” Forrest Sr.; son, Reginald “Reggie” Forrest; and daughter; Terry Forrest.
The family requests no flowers and memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
