GRENADA — Mr. Merle Ray Angle, 65, died Nov. 11, 2012.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012 at Friendship Baptist Church.
Visitation was held 5-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12, 2012 at Garner Harper Funeral Home.
Garner Harper Funeral Home of Grenada is in charge of arrangements.
He was born Sept. 24, 1947 in West Point to parents Christine Russell and George Quitman Angle. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and a retired coach and teacher from the Grenada School District . He was known as a great supporter of the outdoors and youths of Grenada.
He is survived by his mother, Christine Russell Angle of West Point; son, Josh Angle (Suzanne) of Grenada; daughter, Christy Carrol (Dusty Jourdan) of Macon; brother, Swane Angle of Okolona; sisters, Gloria Reed of Starkville and Barbara Joe McCamey of Calif.; and grandchildren, Mallory Ray Angle and Tyler Ray Angle of Grenada, and Hallee Ray Jourdan of Macon.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Angle.
