Mrs. Edna Mae Fuller Cox of Greenville, 97, died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012 at her home.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012 at Mortimer Funeral Home in Greenville with her niece, Barbara Smith, officiating.
Burial will follow in Lehrton Cemetery near Ruleville.
Visitation will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012 prior to services.
Mortimer Funeral Home of Greenville is in charge of arrangements.
Edna was born in Carroll County on Aug. 19, 1915 to the late James Harvey and Essie Edna Fuller. She resided in Ruleville most of her life. She was a member of Joseph Chapel Church of God and worked part-time at Steed's Dry Cleaners.
She is survived by her brother, Giles (Frances) Fuller of Greenwood; four daughters, Ann (Frank) Chiles of Starkville, Dot (Joe, deceased) Bennett of Greenville, Fran Kirksey of Slidell, La. and Linda (Jay) Long of London, Ark.; grandchildren, Jenny (Dr. Todd) Lee of Grenada, Ben (Dr. Julie) Chiles of Houston, Texas, Shawn (Michelle) Bennett of Kernersville, N.C., Kristie Stokes of Brandon, Tonya Phair of Slidell, La., Misty (Ashley) Sparks of Bentonville, Ark., Nichole Long of Russellville, Ark. and Schuyler Long of Sunset, Texas; and 14 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Winston Bluford Cox; sister, Bernice (Robert) Montgomery; two brothers, James (Pauline) Fuller and Russell (Lois) Fuller; and three grandsons, Kirk Bennett, Stevie Richardson and Shane Kirksey.
Pall bearers are William Cox, Charles Cox, Winston Lee, Joe Fuller, Michael Westmoreland, Shawn Bennett, Gavin Bennett and Wade Street
