Mr. Damian William Fischer, 85, died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012 after a brief illness.
Mass services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Starkville.
Visitation will be held 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012 prior to services.
Mr. Fischer was a native of New Orleans, La., a veteran of the Korean War and an employee of BellSouth for 39 years. Damian was a loving husband and a wonderful father. He loved fishing, feeding the birds, and being surrounded by his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Rose Mary Hagmann Fischer; four sons, David (Cindy), Thomas (Christine), Robert and Stephen (Linda); two daughters, Mary Livaudais and Barbara Lancaster (James); 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
