A man wanted in connection with three armed robberies of local pizza deliverers was arrested Tuesday, Starkville Police Department officials said.
Carlo Shepherd, 28, of 20493 Old Houston Road, Aberdeen, was arrested in Aberdeen with the help of the city’s police department and charged with three counts of aggravated assault.
An approximate arrest time was unavailable at press time.
Shepherd’s bond was set at $45,000, an SPD release stated, and he is awaiting his initial appearance in Oktibbeha County Jail.
Law enforcement agencies are still searching for Shepherd’s alleged accomplice, the SPD release states.
Few details were available on the second suspect, but Caryl Pritchard, a member of SPD’s investigations unit, said the remaining suspect is an African American male who was seen wearing dark clothing.
Anyone with additional information can contact the police department at 662-323-4131.
