Marian Gray

GREENVILLE — Mrs. Marian Jean Honnaker Gray, 85, died Monday, Jan. 14, 2013 at Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville.

Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Starkville with Brother Danny Johnson officiating.
Boone Funeral Home of Greenville is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Gray was born on March 11, 1927 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of Joseph Louis and Monica Ganshaw Honnaker.

She is survived by her sister, Betty Lou Wolfe (Jim) of Sidney, Ohio; her daughter, Lisa Gray Avritt (Bobby) and son Don Gray, both of Greenville; grandsons, Joey Aplin (Catherine Childress) and Micah Aplin (Jody Wood) of Tuscaloos, Ala., Eric Aplin (Amy Avritt) of Talledega, Ala., Casey Gray (Maggie Krstovic) and Brandon Gray (Julianna Ault) of Easley, S.C. and Ethan and Joshua Gray of London, Ky.; great-grandchildren, Leigh, Logan and Cooper Aplin of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Georgia, Emma, and Vivien Aplin of Talledega, Ala. and Kara Gray of Easley, S.C.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, William Honnaker; and her husband, Harold J. Gray.
