Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Nale Parsons, 77, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013 at OCH Regional Medical Center in Starkville.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013 at First United Methodist Church in Starkville with Rev. Giles Linley, Rev. Bob Whiteside and Rev. David Shoemaker officiating.
Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoum, La. with Rev. Tony Ganey officiating.
Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, 2013 in the First United Methodist Church sanctuary in Starkville.
Welch Funeral Home of Starkville is in charge of arrangements.
She was a homemaker and member of First United Methodist Church in Starkville, where she was a member of the church choir.
She is survived by her husband, George Parsons of Starkville; sister, Gaye Walker of Calhoun, La.; brother, Finner Nale of Camden, Ark.; and a host of nieces and nephews.
