The work of the Commission on Starkville Consolidated School District Structure has endured some public scrutiny recently, particularly criticism it hasn’t accomplished enough since it began looking into how to best consolidate Starkville and Oktibbeha County school districts.

The seven-member commission has administrative and parent representatives from each district as well as a representative from the Mississippi Department of Education.
