To borrow a phrase from the late Jack Buck, "I can't believe what I just saw."
Ole Miss quarterback Bo Wallace had the touchdown right in front of him.
The hole opened up, Wallace ran through it and he made it into the end zone.
There was only one problem. He forgot the football.
With Mississippi State leading 17-10 in the first-ever overtime in an Egg Bowl, the Rebels knew they had to get a touchdown to keep the game going.
In a fortunate twist of fate for the Bulldogs, Wallace fumbled after running the 8 yards he needed to get to reach the end zone. MSU's Nickoe Whitley was credited with the forced fumble. It was one of many key turnovers in the last couple of weeks for the Bulldog senior.
