The mood in the Mississippi State locker room after Saturday’s loss was not pleasant.
The Bulldogs dropped an 82-63 decision to in-state rival Ole Miss. It was MSU's fourth road loss this season and third in Southeastern Conference games.
The three SEC road losses have been by at least a 19-point margin.
True freshman point guard I.J. Ready has assumed a leadership role for the Bulldogs this season and he is going to take that on this week.
“It will be addressed,” Ready said after the loss to the Rebels. “(It's) not in a bad way, (but) just as a team matter and make sure everybody is on the same page. We can’t let losses like this split us up. Everybody has to stay together. We just have to come out and be aggressive. I don’t think we have enough heart right now as a team.”
