The Mississippi State Bulldogs were on a six-game winning streak at this time last week.
After losing the final two games to Texas A&M at home to drop a Southeastern Conference series and losing a midweek game to Jacksonville State, the Bulldogs have lost three straight.
MSU head coach John Cohen had his guys back on the practice field Thursday morning.
"We just had a great practice," Cohen said. "Our practice was very energetic and I thought we got a ton done. It was just a week ago we were talking about being 6-0, winning six in a row, but now we haven't played as well in the last three ballgames. They're really looking forward to get it going again."
The No. 28 Bulldogs (28-18, 11-0) hope to take the practice momentum with them to Auburn this weekend for a three-game series against the Tigers (25-20, 9-12).
