Training camp is over for Mississippi State.
The last two weeks were spent at the farm, which were some of the roughest days of practices for the Bulldogs.
That part of the fall is over as school started Monday.
"This is the big transition week," MSU head coach Dan Mullen said during a media gathering Monday night. "Training camp's over, school's started, the exhaustion of training camp that's in your body that you fought through, you're really working. This week is keep things really simple, get a lot of things cleaned up, watch a lot of the cut ups, review and improve in the areas we need to improve. Guys need to start getting their legs back and should start feeling healthy."
This is the last week before the first game week starts. The Bulldogs open the 2014 season next Saturday at home against in-state foe Southern Mississippi.
"(It's) just learning of how practices are going to start changing now to end the season from training camp," Mullen said.
