Belton Duncan Jr

Mr. Belton Duncan, Jr., 82, of Starkville, died Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010, at his residence.
He was born Dec. 3, 1927, in Tippo, and moved to Starkville at a young age. He married Betty Jo Frost on June 27, 1946.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Jo Frost Duncan of Starkville,; three daughters, Paula Kay Duncan Elliot of Starkville; Amy Jo Duncan Fortenberry of Sevierville, Tenn.; and Susan Lynne Duncan Wilson of Nashville, Tenn.; sons-in-law, Eric Alan Fortenberry of Sevierville, Tenn.; and Gary Keith Wilson of Monroe, La.
He is survived by five grandchildren: David Chris Elliott and wife, Cindy, of Madison, Ala.; Amanda Lou Elliott Wolf and husband, Craig, of Madison, Ala.; Emily Beth Wilson of Monroe, La.; Orin Patrick Wilson and wife, Kim, of Monroe, La.; and Amy Lauren Wilson of Monroe, La.
He is survived by five great- grandchildren: David Ethan Wolf, Avery Elliott Wolf, Jake Asher Elliott, and Darby Drew Wolf, all of Madison, Ala.; and Grayson Keith Wilson of Monroe, La..
He is also survived by his brothers, Louis Duncan of Starkville; and Paul Duncan of Cleveland, Tenn.; and his sister Margie Malone of Birmingham, Ala.
He was predeceased by his parents, Belton and Lizzie Duncan; brothers, James Duncan, Hugh Duncan; sisters, Beulah Ponder, Eula Ferguson, and Zonie Davis.
Visitation will be held on today from 5-7 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville.
Funeral services will be held at Welch Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010, at 10 a.m. conducted by Paul Duncan.
Burial will immediately follow in Oddfellows Cemetery.
