Visitation for Stella Davidson is scheduled for Thursday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville with the funeral immediately following in the funeral home chapel.
The Rev. Wayne Sanders will officiate. Burial will be in Oddfellows Cemetery.
Mrs. Davidson, 98, passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at The Carrington Nursing Center in Starkville. She was a homemaker and a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bedford Forrest Davidson.
She is survived by her daughters, Mylaree Sanders of Starkville, Louise Thompson of Starkville, Madonna Capps of Philadelphia, Geneva Ray of Vicksburg and Barbara McDonald of Indianapolis, Ind.; son, Gene Davidson of Bedford, Va.; sister, Opal West of Aberdeen; 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
