Emergency personnel and others worked this morning to free a number of students from a school bus stuck on a flooded road on the county's east side.
The students, many of whom appeared to be in their teens, were loaded onto a second bus sometime before 10 a.m. today.
The Oktibbeha County school bus faced south on Hickory Grove Road, at least one mile south of Highway 182.
There were no reports of injuries, fire officials said.
