WEST POINT — Paige McKee, 26, passed away, Sunday, April 10, 2011, at her home, in Maben.
Funeral services will be April 14, at 2 p.m. from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Sam Edwards officiating, assisted by Rev. Owen Gordon.
Burial will follow in Old Cumberland Cemetery at Cumberland. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Calvert Funeral Home.
Emily Paige McKee was born April 12, 1984 in West Point, to Carol Blansett McKee and the late, Donald Wayne McKee. Paige was a member of the Baptist church. She enjoyed Karoake at the "Tin Top" and always had a smile on her face; she loved having her picture made. She loved riding in "big truck" with Larry "Easy Rider" Howell. Most of all she enjoyed her stuff animals "Boy" and "Pongo."
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Neil Blansett, and her
paternal grandfather Thurman Ozborn "Dutch" McKee.
Survivors include her mother, Carol Blansett McKee of Maben; one sister, Angela McKee Clarke (Aubrey) of Starkville; maternal grandmother, Barbara Watson Blansett of Pheba; paternal grandmother, Helen Kuykendall McKee of
Pheba; one niece, Tiffany Clarke of Starkville; her aunts and uncles and a host of cousins.
Pallbearers will be Larry Howell, Belton "Shag" Harpole, Jimmy Lucas, Marion Johnson, Johnny Tate, Larry Hardin, William McKee, and Floyd McKee.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jerry Gilbert, Johnny Ward, D. M. Langford, Kenneth "Pudgy" McKee, Jimmy McKee, David Blansett, Steve McKee, Bobby Joe McKee, Curtis McKee, the Graduating Class of 2005 at East Webster High School, Dr.
David Booth and staff, all the staff and patrons of the "Tin Top."
