Catherine Wilma Irvine McClelland, age 80, passed away on April 25, 2011, at the Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian. She was a retired Food Service Manager for the Starkville Public Schools.
Services are scheduled for Friday, April 29 at Friendship Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville. Burial will be in the McClelland Cemetery. The services will be conducted by the Reverands Tim Buchanan, Russell Mord, and Fred White.
Mrs. McClelland was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Benjamin McClelland; two sons, Donald Glynn McClelland, and Ronald Lynn McClelland.
“Mawmaw B” is survived by one son, Bobby McClelland and wife Margaret of Sturgis; two daughters, Elaine Reed and her husband Joel of Starkville and Debbie Chance of Daleville; nine grandchildren, Christopher McClelland, Kristin Hollis and Will, David Reed and Erica, Matthew Reed and Aimee, Cassie Gage and Will, Cory Chance, Rhonda Warren and Todd , Angela McClelland, Misty Betts and Stevie; nine great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the McClelland Cemetery, c/o Martha Lindsey, Bank First, Starkville or Relay for Life.
