NATCHEZ — Memorial services for Annie Dora Pickering Collins, 71, of Natchez, who died August 5, 2011 in Natchez, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, August 13, 2011 at Church Hill United Methodist Church with Rev. Steve Purvis officiating.
Mrs. Collins was born January, 1, 1940, the daughter of Frank Pickering and Deba Gill Pickering. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, IP Retirees Association, Fenwick Card Club and the Women of the Moose.
Mrs. Collins is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harvey H. Collins, Jr.; one daughter, Maria Stephens; granddaughter, Annie Springs; one great-grandson, Tagger Collins; and one great-granddaughter, Tabitha Lomax.
Survivors include four daughters, Debbie King and husband, Walter, of Jonesboro, Ga., Alice Barbieri and husband, Vic, of Lyon, Patty Ward and husband, Phil, of The Colony, Texas, and Carolyn Smith of Starkville; three sons, Harvey Collins of Florence, Sidney Collins and wife, Julie, of Hattiesburg, and Glen Collins and wife, Mechelle, of Bogue Chitto; four sisters, Virginia Bizzell, Mamie Montgomery, Eula Miller and Margie O'Flaherty; two brothers-in-law, David Collins and wife, Grace and Robert Collins and wife, Margie; one sister-in-law, Patricia Kelly and husband, Dan; 19 grandchildren, Daryl Lomax, Rebecca Webb, Lester King, Luke Barbieri, Troy Barbieri, Angel Casser, Phillip Ward, Stephens Ward, Joseph Ward, Charles Smith, Elisha Smith and Colby Smith, Houston Collins, Samuel Collins, Emily Collins, Keith Collins, Desiree Collins, Alicia Collins and April Collins; eight great-grandchildren.
