Education on breastfeeding

The Latch On American tour recently went through Flowood, and Starkville resident were there to help support the cause of educating people on the importance of breastfeeding. One stop was in Flowood on August 14, and two Mississippi women were interviewed for the documentary - Dr. Rebecca B. Saenz, physician and founder of the Mississippi Breastfeeding Medicine Clinic in Madison and Kendall Cox, co-founder of Every Mother, Inc.  As well as several breastfeeding mothers who wanted to share their stories.  Linda C. McGrath and Christina Chunn, LLL Leaders of LLL of Starkville/Columbus traveled to Flowood to participate in the Latch On America and Milk for Thought event.  Christina’s two young children, Hunter and Michaela, are also pictured.
