MSU finishes its two-a-days with scrimmage

The Mississippi State Bulldogs have now made it through two-a-days.
MSU scrimmaged in front of students and media Wednesday night and head coach Rick Stansbury wanted to see how his squad would handle going up and down the court in a game-type setting.
"What I liked tonight was I saw some guys fight through fatigue," said Stansbury. "I don't think Dee Bost or Bryan Bryant ever came out and those guys pushed themselves through exhaustion."
After two 20-minute scrimmages and a 12-minute scrimmage, Bost had 26 points and Bryant had 28.
The big scorer of the night was Renardo Sidney with 33 points and was one rebound shy of a double-double.
Arnett Moultrie and Roquez Johnson were able to pick up double-doubles with Moultrie scoring 15 points and grabbing 11 rebounds and Johnson with 13 points and 14 rebounds.
Jalen Steele caught the eye of many of the near 500 students in attendance and he finished the night with 25 points.
Once the scrimmage action was over, Stansbury was happy with his team's effort and noticed the depth despite not being perfect.
"There are a lot of areas that we have to get better at, but when you watch our guys play a little bit, we have a lot of guys that can do a lot of things," said Stansbury. "I have multiple guys who can dribble, pass it and that dribble is the most difficult thing to defend still."
MSU will host Florida Tech on Saturday in an exhibition game at 2 p.m.
