Dorothy Jean Hall, 67, of Blytheville, died Sunday, March 18, 2012, at her home.
Born in Longview to Author Mancil and Mary Presley Odom, she was a member of North Tenth Street Baptist Church and a former employee of ACCO.
Dorothy loved her children and grandchildren, and loved to cook and feed her family. She enjoyed watching hummingbirds and going to the senior citizens’ center.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Ralph Hall.
She is survived by her children, Teresa Williamson of Ackerman, Charles Hall and wife Sherry of Sturgis and Randy Hall and wife Nancy of Gosnell, Ark; brothers and sisters, Jerry Odom, Betty Brown, Gwen Ray and Debbie Odom, all of Bradley, William Odom of Ackerman, Author M. Odom of Eupora, Paul Odom, Hilbert Bush, Stellla Sanders and Charlotte Anderson, all of Starkville, Cornelia Robuck of Kosciusko and Vickie Lyle of Mendenhall; grandchildren, Brittany Bramme, Robert Williamson, Samuel Williamson, Allison, Hillary, Jessie Hall, Steven Victory and Keri McDaniel; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 22, 2012, at Friendship Baptist Church in Sturgis with Rev. Tim Buchanan officiating.
Burial will follow in Craig Springs Cemetery in Sturgis.
