Mississippi State takes over SEC Network July 27

Mississippi State takes over the SEC Network on July 27 as 24 hours of coverage will be devoted entirely to Bulldog content, including historic games and documentaries.
For the second-consecutive year, SEC Network is turning over its control room to all 14 Southeastern Conference schools for a two-week stretch. MSU's "Relentless" series will be featured as well as classic games from a memorable 2015-16 athletic year.

Student parking permit registration begins July 12

Registration for Mississippi State student parking permits will begin July 12 at 8 a.m. Students will be able to order their permit online through their MyState account.

Newman Transfers to Kansas

Former top basketball recruit Malik Newman has decided to transfer to Kansas. He chose KU over Oregon, Western Kentucky and North Carolina State. Newman, a 6-foot-3 shooting guard from Jackson, Miss., played last season for Mississippi State. He was ranked as the No. 8 player in the class of 2015 and originally considered KU before choosing the Bulldogs.

Super Regional dates, times set

The Starkville Super Regional between Mississippi State and Arizona will be a Friday, Saturday and Sunday series. Each game will start at 5 p.m. and will be televised by ESPN2.

MSU All-Girl and Coed Cheerleader Auditions

Auditions for the Mississippi State all-girl and coed cheerleading squads are taking place May 13-14 at the university's Joe Frank Sanderson Center. Tryouts consist of a fight song, tumbling skills, stunting skills and execution of cheering abilities.
