Amanda “Mandy” Kellum was found safe on Thursday

A Starkville woman reported missing on Wednesday night has been found and is safe.

The Starkville Police Department says it does not expect there to be any felony charges related to the case, which saw 24-year-old Amanda “Mandy” Kellum reported missing late Wednesday night.

SPD said in a news release the incident is still under investigation.


A Starkville woman has been reported missing and authorities are asking for any details to help track down her and another person.

The Starkville Police Department is attempting to locate 24-year-old Amanda “Mandy” Kellum, of Starkville, and her boyfriend, who is also from Starkville.

Kellum was last seen on Wednesday afternoon in west Oktibbeha County with 27-year-old Joshua Moore in a silver 2000 Mazda Protégé with a dent in the driver's side front door.

SPD Public Information Officer Brandon Lovelady said the two are thought to be in a dating relationship.

Kellum is described as being 5’4” tall and weighing approximately 155 pounds.

The incident is still under active investigation.
